A Note About Directed Donations:

If making a directed donation to a specific purpose or project, please remember to write the purpose in the memo line or notes field of your donation. (When donating via PayPal, the notes field is in "Add special instructions to the seller" after logging in.) For example, to donate to the Sita Distribution Project, just write "Sita Distribution Project".

A project page will usually have a Google Checkout donation button that adds the note for you. For example, if you use the donation link on the Minute Memes page or the Sita Distribution Project page, you don't have to write anything special: just enter the amount — thank you! — and the system will take care of directing your donation correctly.
